A Japanese Government scholarship for master and PhD study in Japan. Only Bangladeshi citizens can apply through the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh. Applications go to the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh.

Who can apply
Bangladeshi citizen. Bachelor degree or higher. Born on or after 2 April 1992 (2027 round). You must apply in the same field you studied, or a related field. Japanese citizens cannot apply. A health certificate is required.

Monthly stipend: JPY 143,000 (preparatory and non-regular students), JPY 144,000 (master), JPY 145,000 (doctoral). Some regions add JPY 2,000 or 3,000 a month. Entrance exam, admission and tuition fees are waived. Economy air ticket to Japan.
